Nicola & Damien
“Jack’s work is of high quality, and his talent is undeniable. He captured Damien’s proposal so beautifully, and we were blown away by the photos. Choosing him for our wedding was a no-brainer. We also wanted someone who could get along with everyone, bring a few laughs, and make everyone feel comfortable—Jack is the man.” - Damien
Damien and Nicola were married in a Filipino Catholic ceremony rich in tradition and family history.
Candles were lit to unite their families. Coins were exchanged as a blessing for their future. The nuptial cord was placed around them as a symbol of commitment. The same priest who had officiated Nicola’s siblings’ weddings led their ceremony, adding another layer of meaning to the day.
There was a steadiness to the service. Considered. Personal. Grounded in something bigger than the moment itself.
After their first kiss, as the ceremony drew to a close, there was a brief pause before the applause began. Damien gently held Nicola’s face and they both smiled in that quiet in between second. No direction. No performance. Just relief and joy. It later became their favourite image from the day.
The reception at The Glasshouse at The Fiddler carried that same balance of intention and celebration. Glass walls, greenery and warm lights created a refined space that still felt relaxed and welcoming.
As the evening unfolded, once the nerves had settled, Damien and Nicola were completely themselves. Comfortable. Connected. Present with the people around them.
Their wedding was not about spectacle. It was about family, tradition and the life they are building together. A meaningful chapter, captured honestly.
