Sarah & Tom
Sarah and Tom were married on a beautiful late autumn day on their family property just outside the town of Quirindi. Surrounded by rolling farmland and the gardens they had poured so much care into, their wedding felt personal from the very beginning.
There was a quiet emotion to the morning. Sarah’s mum shed a few tears as she helped place her veil and admired her daughter in her dress for the first time. Not long after, Sarah’s dad saw her fully ready and the look on his face said everything.
Set amongst the beautifully manicured gardens, their ceremony felt relaxed, heartfelt and deeply connected to the place they call home. Waiting at the end of the aisle was Tom, whose smile could have been seen from miles away the moment he laid eyes on Sarah.
Later, we made our way to a neighbouring property for portraits as the sun began to dip behind the hills, with their own farm stretching out behind them. The last light settled softly across the landscape and for a few quiet moments, everything felt still.
One of the most special parts of the afternoon was watching Sarah and Tom spend time with their daughter there. I found myself standing a little further back, giving the three of them space to simply be together. It felt like a moment that belonged to them, so I let it.
Before rejoining the celebrations, the bridal party gathered beside the cars for a few minutes, chatting, smiling and taking it all in. It was such a simple moment, but one of those little pauses that says so much about the day.
Sarah and Tom were warm, grounded and completely comfortable with each other from beginning to end. It was such a special wedding to be part of and one I will not forget anytime soon.
