Gemma & Adam
“We are so thankful that we were able to have Jack as our photographer at our wedding. Not only was he extremely professional and seamless to work with leading up to the big day, he completely exceeded our expectations with his talent behind the camera. We received our full wedding file within two weeks and are beyond happy with the service.” Gemma & Adam
Family was at the centre of Gemma and Adam's wedding, and it showed in almost every part of the day.
They married in the gardens at Glenleigh Estate, a privately owned heritage listed property between Penrith and Mulgoa built in 1884, with light rain falling around them the whole time and the day carrying on steadily regardless. The gardens themselves are the reason so many couples choose it, endless spots for photographs and views out across the Mulgoa and Nepean valleys toward Glenbrook Gorge. Rose petals lined the aisle, and Adam's face said everything the moment Gemma walked in.
One of the most meaningful parts of the ceremony was the sand ritual Gemma and Adam shared with their daughters, simple, personal, and about as clear a reflection of the family they have built as you could ask for.
Before leaving the estate, they gathered under the greenery for a champagne tower. Relaxed, joyful, completely themselves.
A last minute venue change moved the celebration to Astina Suites in Penrith, a newer addition to the city that couples are only just discovering, with rooms to get ready in as well as host the reception. The rooftop pool and bar area made for genuinely great photos even in the rain, and the architecture up there is modern and sleek, a real contrast against the heritage gardens where the ceremony had been only hours before.
Back in the gardens for portraits, there was nothing to force. Gemma and Adam were warm and connected with each other, the kind of couple who do not need much direction to show how they feel.
Their wedding was not built around getting everything right. It was built around showing up for each other, and that is the part that actually lasts.
